After conversing with a dear friend of mine, we discovered the true beauty and wonder of the words all around us. This discovery lead us to develop a list of all new exciting words, agreeing then and there that we would be on the look out 24/7 for them. The collection has begun, let us feast!

lucidity: free from obscurity and easy to understand

bear cake and a glass of cold chocolate soy milk on a day where your troubles need to melt away, thus it's about time to share this luscious recipe:



vegan bear cake


150 g sugar

225 g plain flour

5 tsp cocoa powder

3 tsp vanilla sugar

2 tsp baking powder

pinch salt

75 ml vegetable oil (or softened margarine)

150 ml chocolate soy milk

100 g chocolate



mix sugar, plain flour, cocoa powder and the rest of the dry ingredients, add oil and soy milk until the batter seems to be smooth. add the chocolate chunks and fill into a small cake tin. bake for about 40 minutes at 170°C. use gingerbread and chocolate coating for the face or other delish lollies in the lolly jar to decorate your yummy buddy bear.

While I was cleaning out my old art file from the beginning of the year I found this treasure and I had to share it. All the lines are either inspired or lyrics from songs and looking back some are pretty obvious and some arent. I'm going to do another one soon, since I remember doing this with my friend Leigh at a local park in Yokine. And yes that is a thumb print in the bottom right hand corner.

Silence is the relative or total lack of audible sound.
The absence of sound.

You don't get enough silence or rather have the time for silence. Everyone seems to be engulfed by the loud and fast. Entranced by the boisterous and the deafening. I'll just have to settle for the silence I've got till a comet comes and blows up the world and then everything will be grey and silent. Nothing but silence. But to wait for that day would be foolish, I'll be long gone by then.
