e n t e r t a i n .

Dear kitty,
On the tenth of June a dexterous couple took to Perth city hungry for adventure and excitement. City central was full of the weird and wonderful, but lacked the electric madness they were licking for. With eyes set on space and shape held hostage to their imagination they found it. Their serendipity. The about to be demolished Perth Entertainment Center. Like a forgotten toy bear, it breathed as humans in their same cotton suits walked by. Passing the cold metal wires that spoke words of a caution, squeezing through sheets of crumpled metal. And then they where in. The crunch of the thick gravel and broken plastic  beneath their feet, the thick industrial air suffocating them, the monstrous rubble surrounding them all added up to one thing: F R E E D O M .
Like children in a candy store they danced and laughed. Ran and jumped. They acted out as adventurers discovering a jungle; mountains of crushed seats to climb on, electrical snake-like wires that hung from the tree tops of the stage and the silent sleeping excavator which lay at the entrance. They were taking document footage, collecting little treasures they found when suddenly they heard it. At first it was a faint click click click that soon turned into a thud thud thud. Frozen stiff they looked at each other. Her blood tuned cold and her ears burned as they fled stealthily back to the main stage. The final scene was about to take place. He crouched down, now they were the spies. It was either fight or flight. Eyes focused on one another they spoke words telepathically. The thud got louder and closer and as they hid behind a barrier they could see the beast, sniffing at the air with wild brown hair. With skin fluorescent on the top and blue on the bottom. It's spidery legs carried it, lurking. Like a dog it heard them. Like a human though, it bored them. As the creature departed, so did they soon after.
